Publisher Rating

Publisher Rating is a reputation score assigned to each publisher. It affects how your content is ranked and discovered on Solar Network.

How Rating Works

Every publisher starts with a base rating of 100. The rating changes based on your post engagement:

• Positive reactions to your posts increase your rating
• Negative reactions decrease your rating
• Awards on your posts also contribute

Rating changes are recorded as individual records and are permanent — they do not decay over time.

Rating Levels

Level	Score Range
Low	< 100
Normal	100 - 200
Good	200 - 300
Excellent	≥ 300

Impact on Your Content

• Timeline ranking: Higher-rated publishers receive a visibility boost in the feed
• Discovery: Well-rated publishers are more likely to be recommended
• Profile display: Your rating level is visible on your publisher profile

How to Improve Your Rating

1. Publish quality content that receives positive engagement
2. Stay active and maintain consistent posting
3. Avoid violations that lead to penalties
4. Engage positively with the community

Unlike the Social Trust Score (which is account-level), Publisher Rating is specific to each publisher you manage.
